The Brandy Glass — also known as a Snifter or Cognac Glass — was never designed to be ordinary.
Characterized by a large balloon shaped bowl placed on stemmed foot - the brandy glass became popular at the beginning of 17th century.
Originating in France, as Brandy became popular amongst the 18th century upper class, a need was felt for a special type of glass.
Consequently Brandy glass was created - The bowl is cupped in the palm to warm the brandy, and then it is gradually swirled to let the vapors slowly rise…and in that moment — the spirit tells its story.
